Fire and Rescue Services: Warwickshire

During our inspection of Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service in April and May 2021, we identified three causes of concern:

  1. the service hasn’t done enough since the last inspection to develop prevention activity that prioritises those most at risk of fire;
  2. the service hasn’t done enough since the last inspection to identify its highest-risk premises to inform its risk-based inspection programme; and
  3. the service isn’t taking a proportionate approach to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in the workplace.

We revisited the service in February 2022 to review progress against the causes of concern.

This letter gives an update on our findings.
