Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service second revisit 2020
Summary
During our inspection of Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service (FRS), in November 2018, we identified a cause for concern about the service’s fire engine availability and whether its firefighters had the necessary safety critical skills to respond to emergencies. The service submitted an action plan setting out how it would address the cause for concern.
We revisited Northamptonshire between 10 and 13 June 2019 to review progress against the action plan. This revisit found that the service had made progress on carrying out its action plan, but that more work was still needed. As a result, we revisited Northamptonshire FRS between 2 and 5 March 2020 to review further progress.
