Expectations for police custody, version 4
The Expectations set out the inspection criteria for assessing the treatment of and conditions for detainees in police custody. These are regularly refreshed to reflect changes to legislation, policies and practices about how police custody is provided, and to improve the standards we expect to achieve better outcomes for detainees.
