Dorset – National child protection inspection post-inspection review
This inspection reviewed the progress made by Dorset Police since the publication of our last report for Dorset in 2021. It is part of a rolling programme of inspections of all police forces in England and Wales.
During this inspection we:
- examined force policies, strategies and other documents;
- interviewed senior leaders, managers and supervisors; and
- audited 31 child protection cases (10 cases were good, 10 required improvement and 11 were inadequate).
