PEEL assessments data
This section contains data from HMICFRS’s PEEL assessments.
As part of our continuous assessment of police forces to inform our PEEL inspection programme, we analyse a range of data to explore performance in all aspects of policing. In our PEEL reports, we present the data and analysis that best illustrate the most important findings from our assessment of the force over the previous year. We will publish a summary of the data we have included in our reports at the end of the PEEL assessment cycle.
In 2018/19, HMICFRS started inspecting forces on all questions at once, but reporting these findings in batches, or tranches, of 14 or 15 forces at a time. Data sheets are, therefore, published by tranche rather than by pillar, as has been the case for previous years.
