Norfolk PEEL 2015
How well has the force performed in our other inspections?
In addition to the three core PEEL pillars, HMICFRS carries out inspections of a wide range of policing activity throughout the year. Some of these are conducted alongside the PEEL inspections (for instance, our 2016 leadership assessment); others are joint inspections.
Findings from these inspections are published separately to the main PEEL reports, but are taken into account when producing the rounded assessment of each force's performance.
This section sets out the reports published by HMIC this year that help to better understand the performance of Norfolk Constabulary.

Norfolk Constabulary has made clear improvements in child protection.
We first reported on child protection in Norfolk Constabulary in August 2014 – now we’ve been back to see the progress the constabulary has made against the recommendations we gave it over a year ago.
Norfolk Constabulary’s strong commitment to improving the protection of children is apparent, and it was evident that it has taken important steps to address our recommendations.
