#002/2010 – Policing Pledge: HMIC publishes progress reports

Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of the Constabulary today publishes progress reports on how well four forces are delivering the Policing Pledge – the ten minimum standards that the police service has promised to meet.

Details of how Cambridgeshire Constabulary, City of London Police, Hertfordshire Constabulary and Lincolnshire Police have addressed weaknesses identified during the first assessment round (April–August 2008) are available at www.justiceinspectorates.gov.uk///inspections/pages/policingpledgeinspections

Five more progress reports will be published in March (Cumbria Constabulary, Nottinghamshire Police, Suffolk Constabulary, Sussex Police and West Midlands Police).
