Regional organised crime units (ROCUs)

Units which give forces access to a standardised range of capabilities to help them tackle serious and organised crime, including specialist areas such as undercover policing, surveillance and cybercrime investigation. Regional provision of these specialist capabilities can reduce or remove the need for forces to maintain their own, many of which are expensive and only required relatively rarely.
