Multi-agency safeguarding hub (MASH)

arrangements that allow organisations with responsibility for the safety of vulnerable people to collaborate; organisations work alongside each other, share information and co-ordinate activities, often through co-locating staff from the local authority, health agencies and the police; most safeguarding partner agencies support these arrangements so that risks to vulnerable children can be identified early; the MASH model was endorsed in the Munro Review of Child Protection, and The Care Act 2014 highlights the benefits of MASH arrangements to adult safeguarding professionals
