Home Office large major enquiry system (HOLMES)

A computer system used by the police to manage serious and complex crime investigations. It gives senior officers a real-time view of live operations to help them decide how to best use police resources.

It improves collaboration across forces and other agencies during investigations, helping them find previously hidden links between cases.
