Directed surveillance

Covert surveillance carried out by police and other law enforcement bodies that isn’t in a residence or private vehicle. It includes covert monitoring of a person/people of interest’s movements, conversations and other activities. This is fully defined in the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 Part II.
