Child risk assessment model (CRAM)
A model used in the Metropolitan Police since the Peter Connelly (Baby P) serious case review. It assists officers and supervisors by bringing together six elements of professional practice:
- use of information;
- risk factors;
- risk assessment;
- recording;
- supervision; and
- effective communication.
