Approach to organising policing and multi-agency activity in support of Government strategies, including counter-terrorism and serious organised crime strategies. This approach advocates crime is tackled using the ‘four P’ approach that:
- pursues offenders through prosecution and disruption or stops terrorist attacked happening;
- prepares for crime or terrorist attacked occurring and mitigates impact;
- protects individuals, organisations and systems from the effects of crime or terrorist attack; and
- prevents people from engaging in criminal or terrorist activities.
