Greater Manchester Police has a policy on substance misuse and random drug testing. The HMICFRS Legitimacy inspection 2016 reported that the force had introduced a policy for intelligence-led drug testing. The position has been further reviewed and affirmed by the Chief Officer's Group. The force has completed this recommendation.
