GMP monitored the management of juveniles in custody over 3 months to review access to Authorised Adults (AA), the required level of welfare support, including their rights under PACE. A report has been prepared for the office of the polcie and crime commissioner. AA schemes include telephone support for welfare needs. Dip-sampling revealed no delays in AA attendance with short availability targets reached.
