By 31 August 2015, all forces should ensure that there is sufficient analytical capability to analyse threats, risks, harms and trends in respect of misconduct, criminality and corruption in support of professional standards departments and anti-corruption units.

The force has current analytical capability and is reviewing available products which could further support enhanced monitoring of IT systems.

The force now has a protective monitoring system in place. A review of PSD and Counter Corruption structure, process and people is being underatken to understand the analytical requirements that need to be implemented to ensure delivery of the counter corruption strategy. An additional managemment resource is being identified to ensure implementation of the strategy and sufficient analytical capacity.

This is identified as a gap. There will be a Peer Review undertaken by Lancashire Police on 15/02/2018. The force are currently reviewing their people, processes and structures and will await the result peer review before progressing further
